Biografia recogida en su web:

The three members of Funky Nashville started playing together in 1997 in a band called Weatherbeat. Under this name they released a few EP's, had a couple of songs with massive airplay, and toured around Denmark playing festival- and club gigs. Despite the success the band never got to release an actual album, and Weatherbeat came to an end in 2000.

In 2001 Mazanti, Engelhardt and Nielsen got together again, and inspired from different journeys all over the world, they wrote a whole lot of new songs with a new sound and new energy - more attentive than ever. Funky Nashville was born.

In 2003 Funky Nashville released their first album, "A Good Day to Drive".

In 2004/2005 Funky Nashville had two songs on the soundtrack of German movie "Männer Wie Wir", and one song on the soundtrack of American movie "The Long Weekend". Furthermore they had a music video on the Samsung D500 cell phone.
