Story One #3

Después de regalarnos un CD gratis "Disposable", que se podía descargar en su web,la banda británica estrenará el 24 de Septiembre nuevo disco.

‘The Shadow Line’ is a masterful body of work influenced from a book of the same name by Joseph Conrad and is produced by Chris Potter (The Verve, Rolling Stones), who fell in love with the band as soon as he heard their first album. Their sound is urgent and gutsy, it’s intelligent and complex, underpinned by a framework of massive hooks.

Hailing from a mixture of Paris and Nottingham, they are a band who pull their influences from the far and wide. There's frontman Tom Evans classical violin playing, as well as his mastery of the piano, and his love of classic songwriters like Dylan and Van Morrison, matched with Barny Barratt (guitar), Gerald Youna (bass) and Mike Woolf’s (drums) more modernist leanings: Elbow, Radiohead, Bright Eyes. The lyrics are Evans’ but the Story One sound is of a band who have loved and assimilated the greatest songwriting records of the last 30 years.
