SOFT is the sound of five guys making big atmospheric songs with a pop sensibility. The band came together when mutual friends descended upon Brooklyn via Wisconsin, Illinois, and Texas. Months spent in their practice space writing songs culminated in a trip to a ranch in upstate New York to finally commit the songs to tape. What resulted is their extraordinary 11-track debut album, Gone Faded (out Oct 23rd via Academy Fight Song Records.) "Higher" sounds like some great lost English band from the early 1990s with a sound that wouldn't have been out of place on an album from The Stone Roses or The Charlatans.-Filter-mag.com

SOFT Announce Debut Album

SOFT have announced details of their debut album Gone Faded which will be released October 23rd via Academy Fight Song Records. The Brooklyn 5-piece came together when the mutual friends arrived in Brooklyn from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Texas. The album was recorded in a ranch in upstate New York and contains 11 tracks of the band's trademark atmospheric pop. Live shows are expected to be announced shortly.
