Hey y'all, we're a bunch of friends that grew up with each other in a little seaside town in Ireland called Wicklow and we've all been playing in bands since we could pick up instruments. We finally all got together a couple of years back and built this thing called Hybrasil, which we're kind of proud of. So far we've been lucky enough to play throughout Ireland and the UK with bands like The La's, Republic Of Loose, Alfie, Frank and Walters and Idlewild. We have already released two EPs (We Got Music & When I'm Yawning), which both did pretty well with critics on both sides of the Irish Sea and in the few places we managed to release them on the continent. After a few false starts we're going to release another single this coming June and our album, The Monkey Pole, will hit shelves on September 7.After that we're pretty much gonna be living on the road for the following year, so hopefully we'll see you out there somewhere...

this irish based outfit have already released three killer singles and now comes the much anticipated debut album, the album features the singles when im yawning, we got music and god bless the devil, the album features eleven slices of funky indie rock with lots of electro rock sounds and a fari amount of bass driven punk funk influences, the blend of jangly guitars with live drums and throbbing synths works so well together, try to imagine a slightly more indie rock sounding lcd soundsystem meets the beta band and the rapture, this at times sounds like the kind of album that labels like dfa would go bonkers for, september 2007-Roadrecs
